Planning & FAQs

From first conversation to final formation.

Five stages, planned around your venue, the approvals your show needs and the weather on the night.

Production process

  1. 1

    Consultation

We start with the moment you want your audience to remember — not a drone count.

  2. 2

    Creative development

Story, sequence, soundtrack and brand moments are designed into a full production concept.

  3. 3

    Choreography & approvals

Flight paths are animated and simulated, then submitted for the licensing and airspace approvals the show requires.

  4. 4

    Rehearsal

Technical rehearsal on site, with weather contingency planning built into the schedule.

  5. 5

    Performance

Our crew delivers the show on the night, subject to conditions on site.

What we plan for.

Site planning
Every production starts with the venue: launch area, audience position, sightlines and surroundings are reviewed before a concept is finalised.
Flight operations
Flight paths are animated and simulated before they ever leave the ground, then rehearsed on site with our production crew.
Approvals
We handle the permitting and airspace coordination each show requires. Performances proceed only once the necessary approvals are in place.
Weather planning
Performances depend on site suitability, weather and required approvals. Contingency planning is built into the schedule and agreed with you in advance.
Coordination
We work alongside your venue, planners and production teams so the show lands on cue within your event.
